Feeling a part of your body makes you more aware of it, and that awareness allows you to understand what is happening with it and make informed and empowered choices about it. Since your brain is involved in controlling everything in your body, it seems like a pretty important thing to feel. So if you can feel your brain, you can manage it well, and then make more positive and powerful choices in every situation.
Part of making more powerful and positive choices is not allowing negative information to enter and dominate your brain. We have a choice about what information we pay attention to. When too much negative information enters my brain, it feels tight, dark, closed, and even painful. When I take in a lot of positive information, my brain feels open, bright, light, hopeful, and expansive. Positive information allows me to see a bright present and future, and I create in my life what I really see, feel and want. I want a positive life! So I will pay attention to positive information…look on the bright side of life!
