As you may know, I’m a big fan of the Phoenix Project, a training and community service program for young adults that’s sponsored by the non-profit Dahn Foundation. This past summer there were 4 terms of the Phoenix Project in the city of Boston. Some of the groups engaged in what they termed “guerrilla HSP”. They spread health, smiles, and peace in random corners of the city. One guerrilla HSP tactic was doing their signature Phoenix dance on the subway train (called the “T” in Boston).
I subscribe to their YouTube account and found today that they put up a video showing them doing the dance on the train! It looks like it took real guts and faith in HSP to dance on a moving train in front of strangers. They totally change their situation to create the mood they want around them—just like we all can in our own lives. Sometimes it just takes a little hutzpa. Enjoy the video! What do you think about it? Do any Phoenixi want to share about guerrilla HSP?
