Standing Strong

I found this article in body & brain magazine that is a great review of how dahn principles can help in everyday life. It’s called “Standing Strong in a Cynical World: When the going gets tough, Dahn members get going” by Nicole Dean.

Some tips given are:
1. Keep your vision or goal in front of you and don’t give up on it.
2. Become like water. Remember that obstacles in the form of your doubts and judgements (and those of others) do not have to knock you over. Flow around them like powerful water instead of fighting them.
3. Accept others and yourself as they are.
4. Cultivate loving energy.
5. Seek the wisdom of masters.
6. Remember to breathe and feel your breath.
7. Embrace change.
8. Choose to embrace optimism and a sense of self.
