Rise in Consciousness

I recently finished reading 3 books in the Celestine Prophecy series, up to the 11th Insight for those who know them. I really enjoyed the stories, but most of all I enjoyed the messages in them. The first one was leant to me by one of my former roommates who is also a Dahn Yoga instructor. She had read them twice, once before starting her Dahn practice and once after. She recommended the book to me because she identified with the book more the second time she read it because it felt like it was part of her personal experience. When I read these books I had the same feeling. Everything I read I had basically learned through my Dahn training, though in different words (and we actually don’t focus on actually seeing energy with our eyes). Seeing the same concepts in a different context renewed my motivation and deepened my understanding. But unlike just reading about it, through Dahn Yoga I learned these principles with more than just my mind, I learned them through my experience. By being a Dahn Instructor, I had the best opportunity to practice it in my everyday life and make it real– not just a theory someone wrote in a book.

As I pay more attention to the media because of my new editing job, I am noticing more messages out there that match those of Ilchi Lee. The most prominent right now is Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth, another great book that Oprah Winfrey is focusing on a lot through an online course and through cross-advertising with various other companies. It’s doing very well. Since my attention is on this now I can see the rise in consciousness in the world in general that many people are talking about. And for that I am grateful.

Have you noticed more interest in these subjects? What books do you like? What are your experiences?

    Hi,

Let’s not forget Deepak Chopra who has been giving a similar/same message as Ilchi Lee for a couple of decades now.

    The more the better.
