As I was perusing the Spring 2005 issue of body & brain magazine today, I came upon an inspiring sentence written by Dahn Yoga instructor Tara Kim in response to a question about practicing Dahn Yoga during menstruation. I thought the sentence may be useful to others as well, so I’m including it here: “Dahn practice is about the art of awareness, subtle experimentation, and cautious exploration.”
I think this sentence can refer to your body, your mind, and your whole life. When you have enough awareness, you have the feedback you need to really understand whatever you are doing and its effect on you, both positive and negative. This is one of the tools necessary to be master of you life.
Btw Michela, ever get your hands on the magazine
“Earth Human” which existed before Body & Brain? I have an issue from around 5 years ago but when you look through it one can see so much has changed in Dahn.

I have seen some copies in the centers. Body & Brain did become more professional and appropriate for a wider audience as time passed. But the principles are still the same
