Walk Yourself Young: Jangsaeng Walking

Walk your way to wellness.

Walking is a perfect path to wellness. Basically, it can be done anywhere at any time and, more importantly, it works. Numerous studies have confirmed that walking – any kind of walking – is tremendously good for the body.

Prior to learning about Jang Saeng walking I too often was slouching while walking and it became even worse when I was feeling pressure or upset. I also had a bad habit of stepping too heavily which put undue stress on my joints, and did not allow my energy to flow well.
…I am now able to naturally and easily release my stress and feel a sense of peace. Overall I feel more physically fit when practicing Jang Saeng walking. By focusing on how my body is meant to be positioned and aligned, all of my muscles are activated and positioned in a way that helps them to be toned simply by doing what I used to do every day without thinking – walking! … When practicing this walking even my abdominal muscles get a natural, gentle work out, and I enjoy it! This is the easiest exercise that I have ever practiced. I do not have to push hard or do anything outside of my normal daily activities, all I have to do is give a little thought to how I use and position my body while walking!
