Inpsiring Quotes

I found these quotes in the beginning of the chapters of the Dahn Yoga Basics book by Dahn Yoga Education:

“In our minds resides the bright light of divinity ever driving us to seek the same brightness that, once enlightened unto us, makes us realize that Heaven, Earth, and Human are all One.” -Chun Bu Kyung (ancient Korean sacred text).

“To take another breath, we must first exhale. When we have breathed out and emptied our lungs, we can breathe in again.”   -Ilchi Lee

“The person with a safe center doesn’t fear change. We can choose change without fear before a challenge only when we are strongly centered.”   -Ilchi Lee

“We live with many thoughts, emotions, and habits, but at the same time we have other eyes, another mind capable of watching all of these things. Those who practice self-cultivation find that mind; they live with it and they die with it.”   -Ilchi Lee

“Sit down comfortably. As you control your breathing, have your mind watch your body. And tell yourself, “It’s okay.” Then your soul will find rest, and your body, too, will find comfort and new strength.”    -Ilchi Lee

They brought me peace to read them. They are basic yet profound, like much of what I’ve heard from Ilchi Lee. I hope you enjoyed them.
