We've designed Yoga For Dummies, 2nd Edition, to be both an introduction and a beginner's reference work. You can read the chapters one after the other and practice along with us, or you can dip into the book here and there, reading up on the things that currently interest you, such as how to find the right kind of style or Yoga class for your needs, or what helpful props you can use to make your practice easier.
If you're a newcomer to Yoga, we recommend that you spend some time with the table of contents. You may even want to leaf through the book to get a general sense of how we have structured and approached the material.
If you aren't new to Yoga and simply want a refresher course, you can also use this book as a reliable guide in answering your questions. Just flip to the index to locate the information you need or check out the appendix, which refers you to a variety of sources of information on specific topics relating to Yoga.
