Mouth

• Sit up straight in the position you find most comfortable.

• Focus your attention on your mouth.

• Touch your mouth and feel the shape of it.

• Gently massage around your mouth.

• Stop the exercise and focus on how your mouth feels now.

• Breathe in and pull the left side of your mouth as far as you can to the left.

• Breathe out and relax the left side of your mouth.

• Stop and focus on how your mouth feels now.

• Repeat the exercise a couple of times on the right side.

• Stop and feel the difference between left and right.

• Make the facial expressions for the following emotions: happiness, anger, sadness, disappointment, pain, and pride.

• What do you experience when you make those expressions?

Nose

• Sit up straight in the position you find most comfortable.

• Concentrate your attention on your nose.

• Touch your nose with your hands and feel its shape.

• Breathe in and open up the left side of your nose as much as you can.

• Breathe out and relax the nose.

• Stop and focus on the difference between the right and left sides.

• Repeat the exercise a couple of times with the right side of the nose.

• Sit up straight in the position you find most comfortable.

• Focus your attention on your neck.

• Place your fingertips on the back of your head.

• Massage your head by stroking your fingers down and up again.

• Continue this for a few minutes.

• Stop and become aware of how it feels.
